These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Mateday app for iPhone ("Mateday", "the app"), provided by vubyapp.com ("we", "us"). They supplement Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). If these Terms conflict with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA controls. By downloading or using Mateday, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. What Mateday does
Mateday is a personal productivity assistant. It can answer questions about your calendar and reminders, prepare a Daily Briefing, suggest events and reminders for you to confirm, turn notes into tasks, and draft work emails and messages. It also offers general work advice. Mateday doesn't change or delete events and reminders that already exist; you do that in the Calendar or Reminders app. Mateday is not a general-purpose chatbot and may decline requests outside these areas. A chat ends after 5 minutes without a new message; you can start a new one at any time.
2. Requirements
Mateday requires an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or later) running iOS 26 or later, with Apple Intelligence turned on. Mateday currently supports English. Some features need access to Calendar, Reminders, the microphone, or notifications, which you can grant or decline. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these Terms where you live, to use Mateday.
3. AI output and your responsibility
Mateday's replies are generated by an AI model on your iPhone. AI can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. It may misread a date or time, miss an item, or phrase something in a way you didn't intend.
- Review before you rely on it. Check events, reminders, and drafts before you confirm, save, or send them. You are responsible for anything you save, send, or act on.
- Not professional advice. Mateday's suggestions, including work and career advice, are general information. They are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
- Not for emergencies or critical deadlines. Don't rely on Mateday as your only way to keep track of something important, time-sensitive, or safety-related.
4. Free messages and Mateday Pro
Free messages
Mateday includes 20 free messages in total. Daily Briefings, card actions (like adding an event or ticking off a reminder), retries, and conversation summaries do not count toward this limit. After the free messages are used, sending a new message requires Mateday Pro. Your existing chats and cards stay available.
Subscriptions
Mateday Pro gives you unlimited messages and is offered as an auto-renewing subscription:
- Monthly: $4.99 per month
- Yearly: $39.99 per year
Prices are in US dollars and may vary by country, and your local taxes may apply. The price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase applies.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in the Settings app: tap your name, then Subscriptions. If you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, under Apple's policies.
- You can restore a previous purchase on a new or reset iPhone with Restore Purchases in the app.
If we change subscription prices, Apple will notify you as required, and the new price applies from your next renewal after the change.
5. Your content
Everything you type, say, or create in Mateday, including chats, memories, and drafts, belongs to you and stays on your iPhone. We don't receive it and claim no rights to it. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any content you enter, and that the emails and messages you send are lawful.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Mateday to break the law, harass or harm others, send spam, or create content that infringes someone else's rights. You also agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, or resell the app, except where the law allows it.
7. Third-party services
Mateday works with Apple services, including Apple Intelligence, Calendar, Reminders, Mail, Messages, speech recognition, and the App Store. These are provided by Apple under Apple's terms. We are not responsible for how those services work or are available, and some features may stop working if Apple changes or limits them.
8. Changes to the app
We may update, change, or remove features of Mateday. We may also stop offering the app. If we stop offering Mateday Pro, you can cancel your subscription in your Apple account, and Apple's refund policies apply.
9. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, Mateday is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't promise that Mateday will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its output will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, missed appointments, or business, arising from your use of Mateday. Our total liability for any claim related to Mateday is limited to the amount you paid for Mateday in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11. Ending these Terms
You can stop using Mateday at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any subscription. These Terms end automatically if you break them. Sections 3, 5, 9, 10, and 12 continue to apply after these Terms end.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and for meaningful changes we will let you know in the app or on this page before they take effect. If you keep using Mateday after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
